        ## Installation
        
        You can install `napari-imc` via [pip]:
        ```shell
        pip install napari-imc
        ```
        
        As napari is in active development, the use of virtual environments is strongly recommended.
        
        ## Usage
        
        To start `napari-imc` from command line:
        
        ```shell
        napari-imc
        ```
        
        For code usage from within Python:
        
        ```python
        import napari
        
        from napari_imc import IMCController
        
        with napari.gui_qt():
            viewer = napari.Viewer(title='napari [IMC]')
            controller = IMCController(viewer)
            controller.initialize()
        ```
